C'mon Verizon . . . get a hold of the Blackberry Bold! We're gettin itchy for it! it seems as though all the other carriers are signing on to new cool phones but Verizon. The Palm Pro looks like another good one. What gives?! Are they out of touch? I've been ready to dump my Treo 700wx for 4 months now. It's a good phone but I'm ready for an upgrade!

It will be here before you know it, so will the HTC Touch HD.

But look at all the other carriers . . . they're all getting new phonesw . . not just RIM but LG's, samsung, and many others . . .verizon seems to be stagnant.

As the gp post said, Verizon's new LG phone will be out sometime in March.

BTW, just an FYI, Verizon found a new way to stick it to you . . .now when you purchase a smartphone, i.e., a Blackberry, you must sign up for their data plan for $29.00, a verizon rep informed me of yesterday.

And any new PDAs starting with the Omina foward must have a data plan.

Back in November i heard that the palm 800w was gonna be offered by verizon. . . I want that Bold!! This palm 700wx is gettin old.

The plan is ten numbers for all of the phones on the particular family plan.

Oh ok. I had a feeling it was probably for all phones on the plan....This is still a great addition to the verizon plan lineup i think!

Well, do some searching, you will see sprint has a lot of billing problems.

He will not switch to Sprint. He will not switch at all. He just wants to continue to complain about VZW prices and try to get out of paying them or get them lower, but continue to use the service. We see them all the time, customers that want everything for nothing. They complain about the phone selection, when a new phone is released, they complain about the price and want the phone at a discount because they have been a customer for a long time or a free phone. You have to ignore the annoying customers like that and continue to take care of the one's that don't expect everything for free and don't complain....

Not likely. With the Friends & family program tons of 2100, 3000 and 4000 min plan subscribers will be dropping their voice rates substantially AND representing a higher cost-per-user with off-carrier unlimited calling. The only way BigRed is going to make up for that drop in revenue is to sell Data. I really, really doubt you'll see any decrease in actual data charges per line any time soon. Just look for them to push the services they have now, like the Connect plans that almost no one uses.
