Samsung Omnia . . .
Can anyone tell me how long the Omnia will be on sale at Verizon for $99. (Great deal for that phone.)
I really like the phone but wasn't planning on a data plan. I also heard some new Motorola's with a keyboard were coming out soon.
Still trying to investigate it and justify the monthly cost. Any comments on the Omnia? Does it sync with Outlook for calendar and contacts?

Its hard to say. Prices at Verizon are always changing. Just recently Samsung dropped prices of all their phones, while all LG's skyrocketed.
Being a Windows Mobile phone, you should not have a problem syncing the phone with Outlook. You have two options. A wired usb sync, or wireless sync. Both working pretty well.
I assume you are aware of the data plan required with the phone. As long as you can manage the additional $30 per month, you are looking at a very good phone.

Yeah . . . thanx. It seems that all the ads and reps say the sale is on "while supplies last". Weird, usually they give an end date.
Not sure I want the data plan expense and when I play with the Internet on any of these phones it just seems so slow. I'm wondering if it is because the demo units in the stores are played with so much and messed up? You'd think they would work to keep them in tiptop shape.
Maybe what I want in the end is a good cell phone, great camera, MP3 player capable with a keyboard for making texting easier.

Does the Omnia have the same ascending ringtone that you cant turn off..like the other samsung phones?
