Hello,

I am breaking down and going with a new phone, an all digital, and yes, it has a camera, which, I don't need, but, it is there.

I have gone with the LG 7000, The 8000 has the speaker phone, but that is about the only thing that it has that I would like that the 7000 does not have, my area does not have vcast, and I don't know that i would use it. I went with the all digital since where I am at, my phone is always on digital anyway.

My question is..Should I have gone with the 8000 just for the speaker phone. and on top of that, I am already reading of problems of the 8000 shutting off on it's own, and freezing up. I will be under my 15 days yet, so any information will be appreciated on these 2 phones, I have seen pretty go...

I have the 7000 and my coworker did until he got the 8000. I really like my 7. Ive never had a problem with it. I also liked the idea that you can check text messages on outside screen on the 8. But, the 8 is $70 more and that $70 paid for my extended battery, case, and car charger, and I don't have a speaker phone now, so I can get along without it. It is about time they have a phone for someone that has big fingers.

While I am in my 15 days, I just want to make sure that there weren't any problems with the 7000, I read some on the 8000 already, and being that the 8000 has only been out a month or two, that is not a good sign. Might be better ...
