Lg Versa Ring
When the phone rings does it ascend? just checking because i have gotten rid of 2 samsung phones and an lg because it starts off low and gets louder, but takes too long to do get loud. Since im on call where i work i need to be able to hear it ring at 2am in a dead sleep. I realize that some cell phone companies are putting it on their to save ears from being blown out, but why not let the user change it...have it be an option, not a reason for some customers to bring their phones back

I can't say for sure because I haven't messed with a Versa yet, but the phone seems very similar to the LG Dare in many ways. My Dare has lots of different ringtone options pe-loaded and several of them (with the volume up all the way) could wake someone from a coma. I suspect the Versa would be the same.
