BlackBerry Question
Hello everyone!
I'm new to the forum but have been a reader of it for quite some time. Everyone seems to have good info so I thought I would ask a question of my own. Does anyone know how long T-Mobile has the rights to the new Curve or when it will be released to Verizon? I"m a huge fan of the phone but certainly wouldn't leave Verizon to get it! I know I could wait for the Niagra (I think thats what its called) but I think the size is a little larger than what I would want. Any info anyone has would be awesome!

Not many rumors on a CDMA curve 2. ATT should be releasing the curve 2 sometime in April/May. My guess is that you either won't see a curve 2 on verizon or it is atleast 6-8 months down the pipeline.
Verizon doesnt really need to segment their market like GSM does with edge only devices and 3G capable devices. Everything is just EVDO, I think that also changes how they release phones a little bit as well.

If I managed to land one that was "unlocked" would I still have all the capabilities as a phone from the Verizon network such as email, internet etc...?

GSM phones use different radios. The networks are not compatible. You cannot use any GSM device on the verizon network, regardless if its unlocked or not.
