COVERAGE IN PORTLAND, OR....
I'm getting ready to move to Portland, and was inquiring how the coverage was for this carrier. I'm debating between Cingular, T-Mobile and Verizon. Any input is appreciated. I'm thinking of getting the LG 6100 so any input with this phone additionally is appreciated.

If you don't need nationwide coverage USCC works there quite well, from what my customers have told me. They also carry the VX6100, I just bought that phone and absolutely love it. 😁

Go to deadcellzones.com and you will see that Verizon has the best record of the three mentioned. Cingular wil be listed as ATT there and they are the worst follwed closely by T-Mobile. This site is not controlled by any wireless carriers and allows consumers the option of submitting trouble areas with their providers. Hope this helps and remember that Cingular and Verizon will have better national coverage if you travel.
