BlackBerry Storm 2 will have WiFi.

As of right now, the new Storm that will be out sometime in Sept. will have WiFi. This may be the first CDMA BlackBerry with WiFi unless the Pearl Flip has it.

Don't count on seeing the flip too soon. It just got dumped in testing.

I find it kind of hard to believe that Verizon is going to screw everybody that ran and bought a storm and not even a year later go and release a much better storm that none of the current storm owners will be able to upgrade to...Is Verizon going to give current storm owners an opportunity to do an early upgrade to the new storm like AT&T did when the new iPhone came out?

Haven't you ever purchased a phone before? As soon as you buy something another one comes out. Most replacements take about a year and a half to come out, a few exceptions aside.

And from what I've seen, a large number of the Storms I've sold went to single lines and primary lines on a family share, most of which will be able to upgrade at the 12 month mark.

AT&T practically had to let iPhone people upgrade. The first version was unsubsidized, so any contract on a line was for a different subsidized phone or because the customer signed a one-year term for some reason. That, and the second iPhone was such an improvement on the data end (which is funny when you know how well the data works on the second one) that not allowing custome...

There is an early upgrade program. You have to finish at least 12 months of service and be on a high enough rate plan to qualify for it. So, yes... it is possible for someone to get the storm 2 that owns the storm (they have to qualify for it).
