Questions regarding smartphone browsers

I'm new to wanting internet access on a mobile device and am wondering whether a webpage looks different on a Blackberry than it does on another smartphone browser. If so, how would you describe the differences? Also, how would you describe the differences in appearance between a webpage as seen on a smartphone (or Blackberry) and the same page as seen on a computer?

1: Graphics on pages are generally stripped down or eliminated completely. Optimized sites assume you are more interested in text then graphics or video.

2: Adobe Flash-based content is only minimally supported if ever. For example, the Versa is one of the first devices to support embedded youtube vids on a page but you can forget about trying to use Google Documents without a special App.

3: Pages the require popup windows or having dynamic flyout menus don't work. A good example is the vzw.com homepage. All those items in the top bar that drop down different options just by doing a mouse-over don't work well. A slight exception here is BlackBerries which in my opinion do a slightly better rendering job. SOME mouse-overs on SOME s...
