Samsung Alias 2 ringtone help

So maybe it's a Samsung thing or it's just the new Alias 2. But I take the same SD card from my LG Dare loaded with my working MP3 ringtones and put it in my new Samsung Alias 2 and it doesn't see my ringtones. 😡

Any help, do I have to use a different format, size, etc for Samsung phones? 😕

You can't save "Ringtones" directly to a card and pop it in a new phone and have it recognized.

Are you talking about clips in your "my sounds" folder?

i've seen this before. best way to do it, just load the sd card in your computer, save files in a folder, then send them as emails to your phone # @vzwpix.com . after that open message, options, save ringtone. hope that helps 😉

I'll say this, it is a REALLY nice phone. But for me and how I use phones it's a little too slippery. I've only seen a ratcheting holster for it on Samsung's site.
It could really use a ZAGG's invisashield or some sort of skin witch I'm sure are soon to follow. But I'm still torn on weather or not to keep it.

Other than that the changing keyboard is AWSOME! Really easy to text on and extremely easy to get used to. In my opinion the hinge is alittle to tight but perhaps over time it would loosen up. It has a good quality built feel to it, sounds really good as well earpiece & speakers. The browser is th...

Hi . . . sounds good. What connector does the Alias2 use for charging? Mini, micro USB or some non-standard Samsung port?

How the camera?

Thanx

Uses proprietary Samsung connector for charging, can’t really tell you about the camera. But if your interested I’d get one, everyone is like “Oh a flip phone, wait that’s kind of cool.”

No its not just a Samsung thing. Anytime you switch your card to a totally different device you have to format it and when you do that you lose everything. I know, it sux. 😡
