If a customer checks credit today.... how long do they have to activate until you have to re-pull credit?

I know with T-Mo is was 90 days...

Anyone know the answer to this Q?

Thanks so much!

I have been able to access them up to 90 days, as long as the app is still in eRoes (stays for 90 days) you can process it through the initial credit app.

Oh, then I was misinformed. I've never tried to access them past 30 days because I was told we could not.

you are both right. credit apps stay in the system for up to 90 days but after 30 days credit review has the ability to change the deposit amount depending if something has changed drastically in their credit profile. granted a 0 deposit isnt going to turn into a 400 overnight. so most likely the same deposit amount will apply.

Well, I had a customer come in recently that wanted 2 lines of service, he had come in about 2 months ago and we had ran his credit for a single line, which was still in the system, it was approved with zero deposit. wWhen we went to run a second line, it came back with a 125 deposit.

We called credit and they wouldnt change it.

We had to go back and activated a single line, wiith the original credit app to avoid one of the 125 deposits, then we had ot process thesecond line with the 125 deposit.

Kinda strange how credit wouldnt make an exceptoin for the second line,

when a customer runs credit they are assigned a credit class code. you can see the customers original class code in infodesk if you are using netace, i dont know about eroes. if they are credit class O they are approved 0 deposit on the first line and 125 on any additional line. after six months of paying on time they can add lines without a deposit. im pretty sure that was the case with your customer.
