You're nuts. Motorola still is king for reception. Batteries are starting to get better, but are still mostly crap though. 🙄
Ericsson always had good phones, even if they weren't as feature rich, they were still great phones, if not expensive.

will be the day I sell all their unlocked phones I've purchased throughout the years and on Ebay. The coolest thing about them is that they can't never be mistaken by a CDMA variant. Never! If this happens that won't be the case anymore, so I'll be through with them.
