Synching PDA Phones directly with Exchange Server w/Verizon
Hello - Been lurking here for too long now; many o' knowledgable folk here.
My question is that my company is looking to use a carrier to roll out PDA phones to, and we would like to use verizon as they are our current vendor. However it looks like the only solution (enterprise-wise) is to have some lame desktop application installed on said users workstation that will 'push' the emails to the PDA phones. We want to control all this on our Exchange server (5.5, but soon will be upgrading) and have the phones connect beyond our firewall and integrate directly into the users calendar/email etc on the server itself...
Sprint and Cingular currently offer this solution...why not Verizon? Why have a desktop application to control this?
