So we just got the dummy version of this phone in our store. Anyone see a live model yet?
The "woven metal back" is kind of strange, but I know a lot of people will like that. Other than that, this looks like a really slick phone. I think that it will be a pretty decent seller around here, and even better in some of the stores closer to higher-income customers.
It's a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but it still feels really good in your hand and the phone numbers are a decent size.
I can't wait to get a live one in store to see how the "joystick" works.

It's a -little- better than the decoy joystick, but similar, yes.
The phone has a tiny little vibrate when you press some keys, too. I'm not too hot on the ribbed battery door - it wouldn't take much for them to create an alternative.
Other than that (directed to Menno) it's a pretty slick yet simple phone.
