I have a blackberry bold now, and previous blackberries for AT&T. I can make my own screen saver and ringtones and just save it on my sd card. If i go with a blackberry for verizon, can i still do that?? or do i have to actually buy ringtones off verizons site??

Yes you can. Verizon blackberries aren't "crippled".

I get free ringtones and backgrounds from crackberry.com. Its easy, free, and they have a ton of cool stuff.

You can do what ever you want with a Verizon BlackBerry as you can with a AT&T one. Verizon does not touch BlackBerrys. We have 3G and GPS on all BlackBerrys. We don't have WiFi because RIM has not made a CDMA BlackBerry with WiFi for ANY CDMA network in the World. And you can creat your own ringtones with your blackberry. You don't have to buy them from Verizon. You don't have to buy them from Verizon on ANY phone really. Dumb Phone or Smart Phone. Bluetooth is also unlocked on all phones. You can even uses BlackBerry app world and Verizon App Store.

Don't forget that you can download free apps off the Blackberry App World and free tv shows from http://videos4blackberry.info/wp/
