To Storm or to Tour?

With the announcement of the BB Tour prices of the BB Storm have started to fall.
Now the question is which one to get, especially with reviews about the new Storm software being positive. And oddly enough the Storm is thiner than the Tour.

And since I'm mid contract I can only imagine what the Tour would cost. 😳
And I see the Storm has a gig of on-board memory. I wonder how the processors compare in the 2 devices?

Tour hands down.

Anything else is just kooky talk!

Tour for sure. More refined OS, physical keyboard, great looks.

If you want a storm, wait for the Storm 2 in Q4.

The current storm is a great device. A lot of issues have been worked out with the new software. Most issues were user issues. The Tour will be a good device for those who don't want a touchscreen. We won't see a storm 2 til beginning of next year.

I would not make that guarantee. Things change so much with verizon. I hope it is out by christmas, but it doesn't look like it will be. Who knows, it maybe...we will see.

why does it not look like it? The device is already complete, all they have to do is work out any kinks in the OS. and since they have already one that with the storm 1, the storm 2 will prolly be close to final production ready by the fall.

Verizon will get this phone out for the xmas rush. The tour WILL NOT BE the last BB you see on verizon in 2009.

I wish Verizon were getting the Magnum. That's what I want a keyboard AND touch screen.

I had an opportunity to play with the Tour today. I currently have the storm and I have had the curve prior. I can say with out a doubt the Tour is a solid phone. It is a combinaton of the storm and the curve. The phone fits in the palm of your hand. The keys are a little smaller than the curve. The trackball is a lot better than the curve. The Tour basically does almost everything the storm does as far as features. It will be a big seller. Any curve user will love this phone. Keypad response is smooth and easy. Great phone.
