Sprint phone on Verizon service

could I get a LG phone for sprint, reflash it with Verizon software and expect it to work if I call VZW to update the ESN? I've done similar before with GSM phones, but never with CDMA.

yes it can be done. i've seen it twice. where to get the software or how to do it? if you can answer that, let me know.

The one store I go to has a repair office in the back and they can reflash phones... talked to the guy and he would do it on the dl for 50 bucks.
