Rebate Card Question
I'll tell you my little secret.
I go to a gas station and just ask them to give me cash for my card and they will ring up a nontaxable purchase for how ever much the card is and give me cash.

Actually yeah, pretty much anyone you go in now is. I've never had any trouble doing it.

Wow... I can't imagine anyone doing that honestly. Most employees at a gas station I've been to wouldn't even know how to do that or know what they were doing. Plus the store is getting charged a percentage for taking that card and you're still getting the whole $50.

Never thought of it that way, but yep it always works for me. Guess it's worth a try for this guy too.

I believe you can take it to any bank that deals with Visa and sign a paper and they will give you the cash. You can also go to verizonwirelessrebates.com and request a check and then cash that.
