I am looking to get a new phone and someone told me verizon is comming out with the v3 is this true

there's a cdma razor on the market coming out but it hasn't been officially announced as to which CMDA carrier (verizon or sprint) will be carrying it. Or if it'll be both.

yea, i agree with what the previous guy said... i think it will be for either carriers becuase its on cdma. sprint and verizon are both on cdma, obviously. maybe if it will be on both carriers, that would mean the price would come down.

yea, thats true, but they could always get the cdma RAZR phone since they are on cdma, and since nextel/sprint will have contig spectrum in the 800 and 1.9ghz for the dual band. obviously that integration will probably take place in the 2006-2008 time frame.

They used to but don't anymore... in fact, my aunt has a pretty cool mini-v60 looking phone... very sleek IMO. The thing is she gets better reception with that phone than my cousin does with her Sanyo 8100 phone.

I know you know everything KingFrog but in case you missed it Sprint and Motorola don't have very good relations and Rich Brome saw the CDMA RAZR and said it had a VZW logo if I remember reading correctly.

Motorola is coming out with a version that will work on Verizon's network. It should be available by the end of the year, early 2006. I have been told by someone within at Verizon that they plan on picking up that phone. I can't wait! đ

Because Verizon "tests" the hell out of things. Although, I have to wonder what they do as they didn't do a very good job on the v710, another phone I highly anticipated, but was disappointed by.

here here!!! it's supposed to be slightly thicker than the v3 that cingular has but who cares.. hopefully they don't cripple the bluetooth on this! horay for a megapixel camera too
