No one cares..

I think that it is silly for anyone to complain about mergers. Even the original entities Cingular and Verizon were formed via mergers. It should be understood that companies are going to do what is necessary to compete in the marketplace i.e. grow by any means possible. Scott Ford of Alltel understood this. He made an offer to buy Sprint which was rebuffed. Sprint made a silly acquisition when it purchased Nextel, but at least they did something. Companies which do nothing will die a slow death. I feel T-Mobile came to this realization very late and it may cost them in the long run. They should have been a player for ATTWS and certainly could have obtained SunCom much sooner.
