I was reading a little online and heard that a BB Curve 2 is going to be coming out soon. Though not listed for Verizon on Youtube I have a video that shows someone unboxing what he calls the Curve 2 for T-Mobile. Does anyone know of anything like this coming out for Verizon?

Yeah, I think it will be called the Essex. That may be the Tour 2 tho, but I know we are getting the Curve 2 (what ever it may be called) this year. It will have WiFi.

the 8530 or Curve 2 should be out within 90 days on verizon. Prototypes have already been caught in the wild. And the phone is already released on T-mobile.
Not a great device, pretty low end. For 200 bucks the tour is still the best blackberry deal on verizon. The storm 2 is also on the way in late Oct or early Nov. Both of these are better choices than the Curve 2...IMO...

Hmmm...I wanted to get the Tour however as I stated in the past the buttons are a little on the small side. I would prefer not to go with touch screen but may have to because it doesnt look like Verizon will be coming out with a blackberry that has bigger keys. I did look at the BB Curve 2 and it does look really flimsy as you stated.
