Page Plus

I understand that Page Plus uses the Verizon network. If I am a Verizon customer on a month-to-month (contract long expired) and I am using the LG-8300 - and I usually go no more than 200 minutes a month (many times less) - is there any reason why I wouldn't go to Page Plus and get their 300 minutes for $25 - that only needs to be replenished every four months?

Is that 200 minutes total, or 200 anytime minutes . Remember, plans like that (unless they state otherwise or are unlimited) do not include Nights and weekends or mobile to mobile calling.

I can't speak for your bill, but I know a lot of people who come in here saying they only spend 200-350 minutes (or something like that) are using several hundred more minutes at night or calling people in network.

That being said, if you are only truly using a couple hundred minutes a month, you would be better off with a prepaid plan in some form

Yes, that is the total minutes per month. Some months I use a total of 100 and some 200 (total) - so it probably averages about 150. I have the cheapest Verizon plan and with taxes and fees I am paying about $35. Based on the Page Plus plan of 300 minutes for $25 over 120 days - it would cost me a total of $12.50 monthly!

I think you would be well served with the Page Plus plan. Port your number and use the same equipment.
