I'm still a 620 alltel customer and went into Verizon today and they said the earliest they will have that info would be tomorrow but most likely later. I would like to get a Rogue, but am on a family plan where my brother has a smart phone. Would that effect me being able to get a Rogue? They will let you upgrade early, but you must switch to a Verizon plan. If you are up for an upgrade, you can keep your alltel plan and get a Verizon phone. If you want Verizon features, you will need to add Verizon features (data, etc.).

The Rouge requires a data plan. I would go right with teh Connect plan on the Verizon plan because it offers unlimited text and data.

They will let you upgrade and keep your alltel plans. You will only have to switch to a vzw plan if you want the vzw features. Alltel plans charge data per minute, vzw plans per mb. If you get the Rogue, I would suggest getting the vzw plans to get all of the features. If your brother doesn't want to switch, change his plan to a single line alltel plan and make yours a single line vzw plan.
