About 2 weeks ago the charging port on my LG Dare broke. I went in to a Verizon store to discuss my options, thinking that since my phone was insured I could simply swap it out for a new Dare. Well after the guys told me about the deductible and how the Dare replacement would be a refurbished phone, I decided my best bet would be to just look for a new phone altogether. Since I'm a Verizon VIP, I was eligible for an annual upgrade in about a week, which the guys at the store kindly went ahead and approved for me to upgrade early because of the situation with my phone.
