Hey guys, I know this may not be the right place to post my issue, but it is the busiest and there are good people in here, so anyway...

Has anyone ever tried to set of a mobile email account that wouldn't validate when given the correct address and password?

The phone in question is an EnV Touch. The customers email was a live.com address which would not validate for anything. When I tried an alternate msn.com account it validated with no problems.

I have assured that the email address and password are correct for the live.com account

An hour with tech support and I got nowhere. Granted it is a Friday night and the service is always a bit lax to say the least

Had the issue many many times, with no fix aside from moving to a PDA.

Seriously. After days of typing in server, port, and security settings over and over again (not just some Microsoft addresses, even custom domains and GMail accounts!), I could set up the exact same account WITHOUT ISSUE on a Blackberry - in three minutes or less.

I can't stand Mobile Email.
