VZW phones are so expensive.
Even the V710, it came out more than six months ago, the price hasn't gone down significantly, and that phone -from what I hear from users- is not that great...

seems to me phones don't really go down in prize significantly until they go on close out ( meaning they're about to be discontinued) and another model replaces them. maybe it's just me tho i could be wrong!

Eh? Expensive? Online, for my zip, they list 9 phones for under $50, and 5 more that are under $100. Not bad, IMO.
I got my phone (a Sammy 530s) almost a year ago, for only $60, on a 1-yr contract yet.... though I did have to go through a 3rd party agent for that.

Verizon Phones expensive??? I just went to Cingular and checked the price on the much talked about Razr, 449 with a contract. Ouch, almost 500 bucks for a phone that doesn't even have a 1.3 meg camera?? The 710 was 249 on the VZW site and at least sports a 1.3 meg camera and VZW also had numerous phones under 100 bucks so is this another Moron Trolling in the VZW forum because there is nothing interesting to do in the Cingular Forum?????

How dare you compare a fully enabled BT phone to the V710. Which even thou it has only a VGA camera, it still takes better pictures than your V710.
