Barrage ?
Hi,
I need a sturdy phone that has good reception and battery life. I don't care about much of anything else, I only do about 10 texts a month, I don't use the web on the phone...
The Barrage looks like the perfect fit. Some of the reviews I have read are that
it's just so so ..
Anyone have any experience with it here? Can any of the verizon employees chime in with stories good or bad.

It's a great phone. It's very solid too. I think you would be happy with it. If not, you always have 30 days.

At first the phone sucked!! The Barrage was released with Hardware Revision B, which had the faulty earpieces. The new Barrage's have Hardware Revision C which fixed the problem.
All units being shipped are now Rev C now, and once you get the phone you can verify it has Rev C by looking at the bar code under the battery which will say "HW Rev. C".... If somehow you are to get a Rev. B shipped to you, you have 30 days to take it to a store and have it swapped for a Rev. C.
It's an OUTSTANDING phone don't hesitate to buy this phone.
