in some areas but it was not national. You could walk into most stores and still get one right now. I am not surprised though... I think it is early in the Christmas season to see the real impact this device will have. I think sales will be very steady heading up to the end of the year... I did not expect millions sold on launch day

another thing we have to take into consideration. MAny agents have it for less, Best Buy, Sears, Walmart are offering it with instant rebate, as well as Verizon Online. With so many different outlets to get it on launch day I am not surprised. When Other phones have launched they are sometimes limited to only core stores in first couple days/weeks...making people go to a limited amount of sites... therefore causing longer lines.
