I have had enough of my Omnia, I have to get rid of 2 of these torture devices. I think my choices are limited but I would like advice from any reps that may have something constructive to say.
1. Buy 2 phones at retail, currently I believe the cheapest phone that does what I need is a blackberry min price $429.00. Total = $860.00
2. (Not sure if this is possible) Buy 2 BB phones at BOGO on 2 new lines $149.00, switch the phones to existing number pay ETF for 2 new lines $350.00. Total = $499.00
3. Pay prorated ETF $250.00 go to some other provider and get 2 phones ~ $400.00. Total = $650.00

Are there any other options? My contract is at one year next month but it’s a family plan so I believe only one line would be eligible for up...

I would wait till next month, get the early upgrade on your prim line, pay retail on second phone and sell the omnias on ebay or something for 150.00 each.

Have you called verizon to ask when you can upgrade?

Also, if you have some documented issues with your device, then I would use that as leverage to see if they will put you in a blackberry as an early 1 yr upgrade. (they might be okay with this since you are retaining your $30/month data fee and you are close to an upgrade anyway).

You have some power here, I like doing this stuff in person as well. Be firm, but not overly aggressive and force them to provide you with a SOLUTION!

Im sure you can get something worked out.
