I think Palm and verizon had some issues...thats why no new palm phones.

However, that should change when the Pre is released in early 2010. Although by then, do you really even want it?

Not surprising. Their phones have always been buggy. Im def interested in their webOS phones for verizon tho. Hopefully Palm can bounce back a little bit.

I think there was an announcement about the pre coming to vzw in early 2010.. Not sure if I read that on a website or one of the internal VZW announcement thingies. Sprint still pays palm to get exclusive periods... not sure why they bother, guess someone at sprint really likes palm phones.

Just gives sprint a chance to have their flagship phone that may (or may not) create some converts over to their company.

Expect the Pre sometime in Q1 2010. Thats what all the rumors point to atleast.

If by "buggy" you mean HORRIBLE (locking up all the time, not syncing, not launching the web without a hard reset) I agree.

Haha...yes precisely!

I do still have a little love for Palm. Ive had multiple palm organizers, and the treo 650 was my first smartphone. I hope they can find their way, competition is always good and webOS is a pretty cool operating system.

I hope they can find success as well as competition in the marketplace IS good. Like Motorola, Audiovox, Pantech and Kyocera, Palm is a brand I do not see myself owning personally.
