Is it really true?

Country Roads

Please forgive me folks, if this is old news, but I've been out of the loop for a while, and I only heard about this in passing.

I have heard that the iPhone will finally be made available for Verizon customers. If so, what is the launch date?

Again, I apologize if this is old ground for most of you. I really have been out of touch with more pressing matters.

Wow some on here are unbelievable, if you "question" the responder's answer as to date, go to ATT find out date their exclusive agreement time period with Apple was for.......hmmmm then go figure...PS didnt say it was a great exclusive agreement, but an agreement..There are "somethings" that are easy to figure...

Ax is a huge AT&T-phile. He is going to attack anyone who claims that Verizon is getting the iphone. I'm sure that is the LAST thing he ever wants to hear.

Judging by the fact that Verizon is running ads bashing the iPhone and Apple is now running ads bashing Verizon - my guess would be not anytime soon

I think that if anyone (other than AT&T) deserves the iPhone, that's Tmobile....

No. It isn't true. *Sigh* Verizon is still playing around with these darn Android devices. There ARE however lots of rumors out there. I'll list a few just in case you are truly interested.

Keep feeding into the hype. VZW will not get the IPHONE. They have moved past that device and are offering other devices in place of it. It will never happen.

Seems there is a kernel of truth in much of this. Vz is bashing ATT, not Apple and in fact may be pointing out how much better off crApple would be with Vz. We all know Vz will get something fruity besides BBerries sooner or later although I don't for a minuet believe that story about crApple offering Vz the iphone first; doesn't make sense, most of the world is GSM (firs the world, them Vz). Vz's rolling out of it's LTE is a sure sign, etc, etc. But given the market's move to bigger screens (witness HTC HD2, drool) a smaller iphone is somewhat puzzling to me.

Funny how you can say its coming, but yet your company bashes the Iphone and what it can do and Apple is backing us up. A CEO would not want to do business with a company that has bashed its products...common business sense..the info you may be receiving may be incorrect.

Verizon is bashing the network the iPhone is trapped on...not the iPhone. Jobs, FREE the iPhone!

Jobs, there are eighty million plus potential iPhone adopters just waiting on your product. That's a lot of revenue from data plans these people are asking you to leave on the table. I am so glad people like that don't run businesses.
