BB Tour 5.0 OS Band removal?
I thought I saw somewhere on Youtube that the new BB OS removed the upper and lower bands on the Tour, I just got one and it still has these bands. 😕

The BB tour doesn't have 5.0 yet. Not quite sure what you are refering to.

That guy def downloaded a leaked OS. May not be a huge deal. But it could be buggy. 5.0 should be out soon for the tour. But an "official" 5.0 has not been released.

I've only had it a day but haven't really noticed anything other than it takes it sweet time to boot up.

Most of the 5.0.xxx leaks were buggy... Gave you a nice idea of what it would look like... I don't think VZW will release 5.0 for Tour, they'll probably wait till Tour2 release in early Feb '10 for it. They had no choice when it came to Storm1 for release. I mean let's face it at least Tour1 is a heck of a BB versus Storm1...
Best bet is to completely wipe it and restore back to orig 4.7.xxx and put up with VZW on updates. At least what they (VZW) allow you to get for OS updates are thoroughly tested.
