got my Droid...question

Well, I like it. I have had it a day and a half and it is pretty nice...much better than my Omnia was. I have a couple of questions

1. Is there a fool proof way to scroll down a page with the touch screen? If I hit it wrong, I open the page instead of scrolling. This is especially annoying with contacts. I know about the little box that opens on the right side, but that is not reliable...unless there is a trick to get to it. The scroll is much better than the Omnia, which opened something most of the time instead of scrolling.
I am quite happy with the typing touch screen, which is 100x better than the OMnia was.

2. My WiFI routinely disconnects and does not fall over to Verizon. I can be in the middle of something and lose my connec...

I'm going to see if I can find an answer for #2. I don't use WiFi. Perhaps one of the other folks on here may have an answer during the week.

As for your first question, quite frankly, the control for scrolling is entirely your own. I've mistakenly clicked on something when I didn't mean to, but the way for me to fix that is to alter the way I use my touch screen. I've noticed that if I don't release my finger, I'm still in control. Perhaps trying to use the scrolling features without removing your finger from the screen would be a good start to altering the way you use your phone.

After years of using the same phone, most of us expect a new design to work with old habits. Just as a new phone is a different size and shape, so too...
