How do i activate a non-verizon phone on the verizon network

I have Nokia phone. Me and firend have unlocked it and also uploaded the veriozn prl on to the phone. When i press *228 its says welcome to verizon message ready for programming. how do we get it on verizon network to accept the esn they keep telling us it wont work.

Hmm.. If this was a TDMA or GSM phone, then no matter what you do it will not work on the Verizon Wireless network.

If this is a CDMA nokia, I'd still say no.

VZW does not (at least on my end) accept non VZW phones. Since we do not use sim cards or anything of the like, we base our phones upon the ESN number. If the ESN is not in our database, then VZW will not activate your phone.

Sorry dude. Even though you got the VZW prl into the phone, we won't activate it.
