I have my own Exchange server and currently sync my XV6800 to get mail, contacts, calendar, and tasks. In my Exchange account on the server, and therefore on any device that properly syncs to it (workstation, laptop, phone), I have my Inbox, and nested under that are individual folders for Clients, Vendors, Family, etc, with each of those having nested folders under them with the names of each client, vendor, etc. When I look at my phone, I see my Inbox and I have the Clients nested folder expanded. I can tell at a glance if I have mail in any folder.

It is a limitation of the Android OS.
Android is currently only in the very early beginnings of becoming a viable contender for the small business and corporate world. Microsoft Outlook synchronization is limited to email (directly) and syncing calendar items has to be done indirectly through a Google desktop application that puts all you Exchange data into Google's web Calendar and then pushes it to your Android device.

That person above makes it sound a lot worse than it is. I have my exchange email setup on a Droid and the email and exchange calendar work fine. It says corporate calendar I believe and has my outlook calendar there with no issues. There is also a separate gmail calendar on the phone along with gmail email.

Do you have folders nested inside of folders that are nested inside of your Inbox folder in Outlook, and do they show up the same on the Droid, or do you just get one long list of folders?
