Hey all....I have FINALLY decided on the Eris over the Droid but was wondering when the OS upgrade for it was going to be available?

The upgrade is available now. Once the phone is activated it will prompt the software upgrade. If it doesn't do it after activation, you go into the settings and start the upgrade from there. It only takes a couple of minutes.

You won't, it is a solid phone. Remember you have 30 days to decide if you like it. My suggestion is to play with a lot the first couple of days and set it to you liking with apps, games, etc. So by week 2 of normal usage you will know if you like it or not. Good luck.
