Contract /Prepaid Question

I was told by CS that prepaid service does not use the same towers (or something like that) that contract service uses. Is this true? What's the difference?

Pre-paid uses all of the same Verizon towers that post paid does. However it does not use any Extended towers which is to say towers owned by other carriers like Cellular South in Mississippi or U.S. Cellular in the Midwest in areas where Verizon has no towers of its own.

So.....does contract calls have presidence over prepay? What about other companies that use verizon towers?(Straight Talk)

You still pick up off those towers, you will just be charged a Roaming fee if you place on call. If you are on contract, there are no roaming fees.
