Verizon service...contract needed?
Sprint offers their service without a contract if you're willing to pay full price for the phone and an extra $10 a month. Does Verizon offer such a plan?

As far as I know you can. You would have to purchase the phone at full retail and on the plan you would not get the nights and weekends or mobile to mobile unless you add those features at an extra cost to you.

why would you pay full retail price for the phone if a year contract is required? Get the phone at the year contract price, do a year, and then you do not have to sign anymore contracts, once you finish the original contract, you can pay full retail price, or buy your phones somewhere else and not have t resign a contract.
AS for Spint, if you figure out that you are paying an extra $10 a month, that is $120 extra you will pay for the year, figure in the phone discount, you might as well sign a year contract, even if you decide to shut down and pay the ETF, that is $175, add the extra $120 extra for the year and what you would save by doing the year contract price on the phone, you would come out about the same, so, sprint is not doing a...
