LG Dare problems
I currently have the LG Dare and I am having problems with it shutting off and resetting while I am using the navigation. Is this normal?
Also, is there any way at all to get my ringtones and pictures to alphabetize themselves? I have changed the names and they don't automatically go in alphabetical order. This drives me nuts!

Not sure on the ringtone names issue (I make my own ringtones, and have been since the V710 in 2004, so I don't look in my ringtones selection all that much).
On the phone resetting, have you done an upgrade check on your VZ Navigator, and do you know if your phone is on the latest version software (not *228 - the software you get when you take the phone to the Verizon store and they plug it in for 15 minutes or so)?

I'm not sure if it's on the latest software or not. I know I just got this phone (via warranty exchange) about a month ago so unless something else has come out since then I would think it's up to date but no promises. How do I check this?

You should be fine, then.
As for VZ Nav, it sounds like you just installed it, so that software should be current, too. Aside from doing a battery pull, I don't know what else could be causing the reset.

I do a hard reset (remove the battery) frequently. My phone (when used regularly) barely lasts a day so I use a spare and I change them out at the very least every other day. It gets old but I gotta wait until June to upgrade. Thanks anyway 🙂
