HTC Incredible

If I were trying to be an anonymous tipster, I would remove my personal information from the phone before taking pictures of it. Whoever owns it is in Bernardsville, NJ, which happens to be on the other side of I-287 from Verizon's corporate headquarters.

Oh, and I'm sure they're one of the 343 friends of the Facebook contact they took a screen cap of. Shouldn't be too hard to find the Verizon employee who left the phone out where it could be recorded.

Yes, yes, yes...fire that guy later. What do you think of the phone?

hahaha!

I think it might be the "Dragon" everyone has been salivating for.

I like the form factor. If the Eris had this kind of processing power, I'd probably have it instead of the Droid.

I think Verizon is gearing up to have a "Good, Better, Best" type of Android lineup. You'll have the Devour, with it's step up, the Droid, which may have it's own step up with the Nexus 2 (assumption). You'll have the HTC Eris, with it's step up, the Incredible (what a funny yet cool name). You'll have an LG in the mix, and possibly the ZTE F350. I'm waiting to hear on a global-capable Android phone. There's a lot more 'Droid coming!

...and still no Vphone. I am glad that I gave up and switched out of my Berry. Between the iphone and the Vphone, I was getting sort of irritated with waiting. Something tells me the Saygus guys would be better of seeking another carrier to partner with. Verzon does NOT want that phone on its network.

I think the deal breaker for Verizon and Saygus might be the ability to use the phone like a Mifi without the extra fee.

Scratch that. It looks like Saygus is trying to set up as an MVNO as well. I hope the phone isn't just a bunch of empty promises.

It wouldn't be the first time. What was that company? Zero Mobile?

No, I meant the bogus company that was supposed to use AT&T's network.

They need to make a GSM version. Sell the phones unlocked. Verizon has been stringing them along for three months now. Why don't they just be honest and tell them, "No."

Agreed, if the Eris had a higher version of Android and a faster processor I'd have it instead of the Moto Droid.
But this new HTC looks like it'll fit the bill. 😁

Maybe, I do like the sound quality of the (my 3rd) Droid. And the fact you can overclock it is a nice backup.

I was really expecting some kind of Vz version of the supersonic with the 4.3 screen; this is just an upgraded HTC already on hand. I'm sure it will be nice but still....not what was expected. With Tmob and Sprint getting the Big Boy Phones that leaves Vz with nothing to match unless...the Vodaphone solution. They were forced to quit carrying the HD2 'cuz it outsold the iPhone hands down (winmo for crying out loud) and they would have to eat their inventory of iPhones by year end. Perhaps this presages an Apple connection sometime this year (good for you Scott Herman).

I believe the Supersonic will be a Sprint exclusive for at least six months like the Pre. I never understood the idea that if Sprint gets it Verizon HAS to get it too. Particularly as that will be a Wi-Max smartphone (likely hybrid) That is like a flagship device for Sprint.

As I've mentioned on this board on at least two other threads, the Supersonic is a Sprint Wimax device. To be on Verizon they'd have to make a version without Wimax, which means they'd likely call it something else, which will always be a "knockoff" of the Supersonic in your eyes. I don't think you'll be happy until Verizon has SOMETHING called a Supersonic, and even then I'm sure you'll dead-pan it as a knockoff.

hmmm-you guys are missing the point and i'm sorry if i didn't explain it better; i don't care what they call it, hd2, supersonic, dragon, passion, etc-i just want that phone with a 4.3 screen running android. i think that would be a fantastic device on vz.

You should have just said that in the first place, instead of jocking the Supersonic.
