1.6 and higher???

Ok, I have an Eris and absolutely love the phone, but every update I've seen on the news page today is for Android phones running 1.6 and higher. Wtf HTC?? Is this phone ever going to move to something halfway updated????????

they are working on a 2.1 update. SenseUI takes a long time to code into a platform.

Moving from stock OS=longer development time.
