Oops, sorry everyone, I meant IPHONE. Anyway, Engadget has this article about this subject. I swear, and their getting the HD2, why would Apple go to Tmo? Doesn't make sense to me. The HD2 kicked Apples but on Vodaphone last year.

Consider it gossip they got second hand. Remember when EVERYONE speculated that Apple would announce a Verizon iPhone last month? Guess again!

ya, I know. What a debacle that was-lol. If Tmob hadn't gotten the HD2 this would seem a to have a bit of credibility to it. Seems kinda funny that Apple aligns itself (here in the states) with the worst of the carriers in terms of coverage/service. That limited but nice phone of theirs would really shine on Vz but alas, sorry Scott Herman, you may have to bite the bullet and go to ATT for a few years if you really really want the IPHONE. My brother has it (where did we go wrong Scotty) and he seems happy but then again he's a tech and who knows about those guys 😁

Bad coverage? Are you referring to lack of 3G? Last time I checked, AT&T covers over 300 million people with voice and data.

Their towers may cover 300 million people, but there is constantly static and volume fade outs and dropped calls on their network. I can tell a huge difference in call quality between AT&T and T-Mobile. T-Mobile's GSM is of superior quality, but they have a smaller network than AT&T.

But the poster is arguing COVERAGE and quality. Coverage isn't the issue.

If you're marketing a phone as a 3g phone (remember the "now you can surf the web, twice as fast!) pushes, it is an issue. ATT is marketing their "blazing fast 3g" speeds, but then pointing to their Edge coverage and saying "see, you can still use data there!

Poor Scottie. I told him to port out months ago. His Verizon love is greater than his iphone love apparently. Not me!

I'm convinced that some of us could coordinate our own rumor and have it circulate the Internet as truth in little time.

Any particular reason why you post about a GSP handset on at&t's network and discussing TMO on the Verizon Wireless forum? I mean you do have a Vodaphone mention, but nothing to do with VZW...

Ya its hard to know whats gossip and rumor these days. As of right now it seems, based on postings and "news" articles on these sites that Every Carrier by the end of the year will have both the Nexus 1 and the Iphone at some point. Great for consumers.

Someone mentioned why Apple went with ATT first. As everyone seems to say, Verizon passed on it first. True or not, who knows. Either way though I think it was ATT that was the only company that agreed to whatever Apple dictated. How the phone is sold, where, etc....
