Anybody see this?

2500 mAh battery in a device 0.23 inches thick? Any 2500 mAh Lithium Ion battery would have am overall size larger then the entire dimensions of that handset!
This one is bogus- at least some of the specs!
Size: 3.58 x 2.31 x 0.23 inches (91 x 60 x 6 mm)
Battery: Rechargeable 2500 mAh Lithium-ion battery
They also demoed it playing a game with graphics rivaling a next gen console. They are moving fast.. maybe not 2ghz fast.. but nextgen phones (I am thinking 1-2 years out) are going to have some pretty insane specs.
I am really hoping that the Droid2(3?) will have an HDMI port.. could you imagine streaming Hulu from your droid to a high def TV?
The commercial:
Can your phone play Hulu?
Can it stream it to your high definition TV in full 1080p?
Can it interact with your home entertainmen...

I think I did see that video back in Nov/Dec? Personally I can't wait for pico projectors to mature! Forget about HDMI, just beam the movie on the frinkin wall!
And about future tech, don't forget about microsd-xc! With an eventual capacity of 2TB's!!!
But we need MAJOR battery improvements first and fore most for most of that stuff to be an option.
I have a Nexus One, and while I can get 1 day easy, sometimes 2 days if I push it and restrain my use... I can also kill the battery in about 3 hours if I really want to/push the phone.
The 1 feature about the N1 that really grabs my attn is the dual mic noise cancellation feature. Not just for ph calls but there are more and more voice interactions with cellphones these days and noise cancellation really aids in the voice interactions with a smartphone.
In all honesty, it is hands down the best phone I have ever used or owned. I test for my carrier, am a phone whore, and have plenty of friends that are iPhone fan boys(never owned an iPhone, hate AT&T in my area, it is worst than Sprint! Although the iPad does intrigue me greatly, and if I had the dough I would have a Mac pro tower done to the hilt)
Anyways, most of the "issues" are not issues at all, and just people trying their...

"Commercialization is expected to take approximately five years (as of 2007) [1], with the batteries costing similar or less per watt hour than conventional lithium-ion. The next milestone, lifecycle testing, should be completed, and the team expects to get at least a thousand cycles out of the battery."
The thing about a lot of these advances, though, is that labs and real world are very far apart. Tons of medicines work in a lab setting, but do nothing in a human body.
I would not be surprised for the HD3 to approach some of those spec #'s, if not exceed some of them... but 2ghz SnapDragon is not likely, just to point out 1 spec lacking credibility.
What do you do to burn through the battery in three hours? I can see myself doing it once I have flash.. but I try to burn my droid and I still get some decent time out of it.. I'm obviously not using the best applications.
As a side note: Do you root? If so, even if you don't overclock the Overclocking widget is excellent to manage power use while in standby.. I have my droid running at 800mhz, but with it underclocked on standby it last longer than my phone did stock @550.
I use an under volted overclocked kernel, and setCPU to manage my profiles.
I can burn through it in 3 hours, which isn't easy, by overclocking to 1.5mhz, turning on WiFi, playing music in the back ground, surfing the webs, and having the live gmaps background on... for good measure I am running circles around my house so the GPS is always active!
No, seriously, overclocked to 1.5ghz, music, WiFi, browsing/video play back... I do have flash lite running (Desire ROM).
Flash actually isn't much of a battery hog, even 10.1 Playing youtube nets the same battery consumption as using the youtube app.
Typically, I have about 50% when I get home at 10PM, I leave my house at 8AM... that is r...
