Huntsville CC Closing?
Just got back from Fye, and heard the manager talking to another customer about the Huntsville Verizon Wireless Call Center closing. That would be wild since Huntsville just opened in 2007 but I guess with the Alltel merger there were probably waaay to many reps. Anybody know anything about it? Could just be a rumor.

That sounds unbelievable to me. If it were true though that would further explain those synergies from the "merger".

Not going to happen. I live outside Huntsville and have friends who work there. It's false. Plus, that building was a lot of $$$. It's VERY nice. 24 hour gym inside too for all the workers. 😁

I'd be surprised too but it was so random hearing this rumor. They have alot of $$$ in that building.
The gym was okay -- it was kinda cramped though and Verizon has to make money on it so they charge their own employees a membership fee believe it or not, something like 15.00, cheap I know, but still most companies who have gyms in the Research Park area give it for free. But it is just a call center after all.
