it will be an iphone (apple only makes one product) that works on a CDMA network, with all the benefits and costs that entails.
that is assuming verizon gets it at all. I honestly wouldn't hold my breath. Apple would need to give up some control to get this to work, and if anything, they've become worse in recent years.
...
Silly Apple, they could make a ton by loosening the grip a little bit. A flock of ATT subscribers will go to Verizon if it gets the iPhone, and they will all (willingly and happily) buy a new iPhone device for this to work.

Actually, if it's as good as it's rumored to be we could all buy one sooner or later; and for crying out loud spell it right: IPHONE, before Scott finds out 🤣

I dunno, I do believe my Android does what the iPhone does, except is less expensive all around...

Ya know....After all the hype surrounding the iPhone I still dont want one. I am due for an upgrade now and as soon as I pay my bill down I am getting the HTC Incredible...I am surprised that Verizon didnt slow down the processor from 1gig snapdragon processor to something slower as was rumored

A few of the rumor specs were off, not just the processor. RAM is double, memory is internal with a memory card slot added for the heck of it...
See what I was saying a couple months back? Eh?

Ya, I'm not due until Oct this year; I'm thinking by then there will be a lot of new phones in the pipeline for the holidays. I can wait although my S1 is getting loooonng in the tooth, software is getting buggy, I'm thinking this my last BB. The wife and I have had 6 in the last several years (she came over from Tmob, had a curve there). She just upgraded to the S2 (couldn't talk her out of it lol). I must say it's worlds better than the first one but still....not for me, thank you. If nothing looks better by then I'm going for an Incredible, should be able to get a good deal by then.

I still have my Storm, even though it's on a line I don't use very much. Those rare times when I pick it up, I really do miss it. I can type about three times faster on it than on my Droid, but I can't do half of what I do on my Droid. After the last software update, I really haven't had any issues with it (aside from it being ancient in comparison to my Android phone).

I just wanted to say Epik....Thank you. You were right. Although looking at the Incredible it reminds me of the Eris which I hated but I am sure it will be a much better phone than that. Anyhoo do you know if you can you turn off the Sense UI on the Incredible? What is it exactly?

It's HTC's stock user interface that provides a consistent workspace between various operating systems and models while providing a wealth of options within that workspace.
I prefer the Eris' curves and compact design. The Droid looks like a robot's turd, but it's functional. I always felt that HTC could have made a much stronger model to compete with the Motorola's specs, and here we are talking about it about six months after the Eris comes out.
I'm not the biggest fan of Sense UI, and I know you can unplug it from other Sense UI models, so it's most likely going to be the same on Incredible.

So this shouldn't be a deal breaker for me? Dumb question I know....But personally I don't want to see what my friends are up to on twitter or facebook....

Like I always tell people, Android is the most plug and play setup widely used on the market... if you don't like something, change it. If you don't use something, don't worry about it. It's as simple as that.
...
Amen....As someone said the Android phones do pretty much anything that the iPhone CAN do and its cheaper....The HTC Incredible is just that Incredible.....
