Upgrade fee

I know that if you upgrade your phone at our local premium retailer, they'll charge you an extra $15. Is it true that if you buy your phone online or in a corp store that they'll charge you $20?

It depends on the market. The corp stores around here do. I don't think online does.

Dont assume that the authorized retailers charge an extra anything. We dont even charge anything extra when doing annual upgrades.

I wasn't talking about authorized retailers. He asked a question about corporate stores, I responded.

Corporate stores in the western US only charge that when it's an approved early upgrade. Your 20-month upgrade doesn't have a fee - we got rid of that a couple years ago.

Every area is a little different, I guess.

It's weird, the store closest to hear charges, and a few others do.. but where I was training, the closest stores didn't.. there didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.
