Any idea on the subsidy price though? Upgrade discounts and MIR will drop it, my guess is to around $299.99 before a $100.00 MIR.

That's based on the Hero and Moment's retail of 429.99 being subsidied to $99.99 after all discounts. Instinct and Tour are both $449.99 and subsidy to the same $99.99 after rebates.

The Pre, Intrepid, and Touch Pro2 are all $549.99 retail, drops to $149.99 with all discounts; maybe the Incredible will match this, having a less expensive retail value?

Anyways, my point is, spouting a high retail price is a moot point. It will not drive customers away. Customers will use upgrades. Upgrades drop price significantly, as seen above.

P.S. My prices above are for Sprint phones. Verizon is known to have les...

ok for starter that was not the intent of my post, and FYI a lot of ppl pay full retail. And yes this entire forum knows that you are pro sprint and we don't care about sprint pricing.

Heh, the intention wasn't to be 'pro-sprint', it was simply stating what I actually knew instead of trying to pretend to know something I don't. The Incredible looks like a great phone. Verizon is a good company. I just don't know much about them, so I can't spout off knowledge. I'm more anti-ATT than anything else, if you must know. 😁

It's 299 with a 100 MiR so 199.. you won't really see a smartphone above that 199 mark (unless it has 4g possibly?)

Went to the store ready to buy. Whoa phone feels cheap, ugly, and I gotta say the screen on the Incredible- I don't like it...the OLED just looks bad HTC is not there yet. I didn't like the outside buttons either, the Droid is better there too. When Motorola made the Droid you could tell a lot of attention went into making it durable! Metal case! Gorilla Glass! Plus the Droid has amazing call quality and reception. There are already grumbling about reception and call quality of this HTC Incredible. I'm going to pass there's really no reason to get the Inc imo.
