5000 messages PLUS Unlimited Mobile to Mobile Messaging
For only $20 Monthly Access, you can get Unlimited Text, Picture, and Video Messages Messages to any other Verizon Wireless customer from within the National Enhanced Services Rate & Coverage Area. PLUS get 5000 Additional messages.*

It pops up on everything, even when you pick the Talk and Text plans (unlimited text included). It's shopping cart design programmed to fit every situation so generically that it confuses most people - even employees.

Do you really think they'd get rid of unlimited text? With people doing 20,000 texts a month? With Verizon sending and receiving about a billion every quarter?

Unlimited text is part of a price plan, not an add-on feature. Check your price plan to make sure it's on "Select" or "Talk and Text" and you can ignore the other options later in the ordering process.

Thanks Epik for the response. It really doesn't make sense though. If one can get unlimited text as part of a price plan for $20 additional then why would anyone choose to 5000 text option for the same $20?

The $20 text option is rarely used, unless someone is on a non-unlimited family share plan.
