This is going to be one bad ass Motorola!
But as you may know, I prefer physical slideout keyboard smartphones, . . .but very impressive specs.
I'm glad to see Motorola, the company who invented the cellphone, start to make a come back. Hopefully the Shadows build is as solid and well thought out as the Droid.
So would you say it's an accurate statement to compare the shadow to the Evo? Minus the 4G of course.

Does the EVO have 1080p output? I don't think so...but to answer your question for me Hell no! I don't like HTC and the review of the EVO although good pointed out some build quality complaints that fall in line with the build quality of verizon's Incredible, not to mention complaints about RF and battery life. I say Motorola and Verizon are a lethal combination. You?
I just hope that the Droid isn't the only smartphone Moto puts out with this kind of build quality, gorilla glass, metal casing, I want them to put more out that are made of good materials. Aluminum would be good too.
For me, Motoblur kills the Shadow for me. unless they made some SERIOUS optimization
And on top of that, what it ads (at least the visible parts) arn't unique enough to justify that battery usage imo.
I know someone who has the devour. they can't make it through a full day on a charge if they tried.. and that is 1/10th the phone the shadow seems to be
My life will never be the same.
As such, the BlackBerry Storm 9530 just isn't going to do it for me much longer. If nothing terrible surfaces about the Ally in the first 6 weeks it's out, I'll probably get two of them.
I don't mind trading down to a 3.2 inch screen if I can get real physical buttons along the bottom rather than 4 capacitive regions. I don't care for that button style.
I do, however, wish they had opted to include and optical trackpad instead of that LG logo on the front, making way to remove the D-pad on the inside for an even HUGER keyboard, with, maybe, perhaps, two shift keys? Maybe a larger space bar?
Overall, I'm not picky enough to care abou...
