Seriously people why do we care so much about stupid details, I own a Verizon store and still dont care as much as some of you seem to, both companies are great, they are the two best cellular companies in America hands down, this is an argument over who can Pi*s farther, it is completly irrevelent.

I personally think that Verizon is better than Cingular by a slim margen, because it fits MY needs best, does it fit everybodys? No.

Cingular and Verizon are the Lexus and BMW of cellular, everybody else is a Kia or a Daewoo, both companies are heads an tails abover the competition as far as the average consumer goes, the only exception is the business customer who Nextel might be the best fit for.

If your going to argue, at least argue about something different, this is the same argument in almost every single thread on this board. 🙄

And everyone knows that the buying public, all 8 people I know will choose mine hands down. That means if everyone I know has chosen mine then that is the best and most scientific sampling that exists. And why do I hang...

Verizon and Cingular are very different companies with different strengths and weaknesses.

Verizon:
Strengths:
Network, customer service and customer care, superior dealer chain (locking up both RadioShack and Circuit City) Billing system, reputation.

Weaknesses:
Often too conservative, Handset selection.

Cingular:
Strengths:
Marketing and advertising campaigns (Cingular and AT&T Wireless joining forces is a brilliant way to get past a buyout in the mind of the public), handset selection, network (In Orange markets), aggressive, will play an educated hunch.

Weaknesses:
network (In Blue markets) customer service and customer care, Corporate cu...
