The main update with the V60p was the connect time for the walkie talkie, the v60s is an update from the v60i, and the v60i is an update from the v60c. WHat kind of update are you looing for now? 😕

I believe the original post was referring to the V65p being an update to the v60p. The v65p has a color screen. I am thinking the original post was asking if there will be a v65s, thus adding a color screen, but not having the PTT.

Personally I think that that model (v60) is so old that they should abandone it, the original v60 came out about 4 years ago so it is getting pretty old

I doubt that they would put out another version of the V60/V65 that is not a PTT phone.
My guess is that the next "cool looking" Motorola phone that VZW will bring out that is not PTT will be the CRAZR that is rumored to be out next January (or so). In my opinion, it would be a waste of money to put out another V60/V65 as it has lost it's appeal.

This could be wrong so don't bash for it becasue I heard it somewhere else and I am not sure if I believe it myself, but it makes since. I was told the v60p was such a flop and verizon had so many of those phones they couldn't move that they worked a deal with motorola who basically recalled the v60p reflashed it/changed the faceplate and sent them back out as the v60s to get rid of them. I was told that is why those were so limited in stock. Just wondering if anyone else ever heard that one?

I guess if that is the case then maybe you could see a v60s down the road if the v60p doesn't sell well, but i doubt it

IF that is true, that would be the only way (imho) you would see a v65s. Otherwise, Motorola would be smart to simply rush the CRAZR to the shelves.
